Whats the latest news and what are the reactions from players and me

Well, Spring training has just begun and we can all say that this season is probably one of the craziest MLB seasons in the past decade. We haven't even played a spring training game yet and things have already become a whole crazy thing. This all started in November when former Astros pitcher Mike Fiers spoke about the winning 2017 Astros and how they cheated to win the world series using sign stealing. This was then brought up to twitter and a video was then tweeted on out November 12 by Jomboy where he explained everything and even pointed out the Astros banging on trash cans on the dugout. This would all be dependent on what type of pitch it was. He explained all of it and I recommend that if you haven't already seen it that you should. A couple days later, the MLB commissioner Rob Manfred would suspend the Astros general manager Jeff Ludhow and the Astros manager AJ Hinch for one year. Manfred would also fine the Astros $5,000,000, and stripped them of their 1st and 2nd round draft picks in 2020 and 2021. Hours after this happened, both Hinch and Ludhow were fired by the Astros. A day later the Red Sox would fire Alex Cora because he was the bench coach for the Astros in 2017. A couple days after this Carlos Beltran would resign from the position of Mets manager due to him being a big part in the sign stealing and he didn't want to leave by getting fired. Jomboy would then tweet multiple new videos showing even more sign stealing. Other pitchers then started tweeting about the sign stealing and saying how absurd it was. Pitchers like Luis Severino, Trevor Bauer, and Marcus Stroman tweeted about this. A few days later a man that goes by the name Yankee report on twitter posted a picture showing somebody using a monitor in the Astros dugout that was controlling the sign stealing. Then in January 2020 somebody who claimed to be Carlos Beltrans' niece tweeted about the buzzers the astros used. Marly Rivera who is an ESPN reporter would then post a couple days later that the person had no relation to the Beltran family. The same day Kenny Ducey posted a video showing Jose Altuve holding hi shirt together on a walk off home run and you are clearly able to see a buzzer pop out of his shirt for a couple seconds. After thi things would become silent for a while until Rob Manfred came out and said about two weeks ago that the world series trophy i "just a piece of metal." Players were extremely mad at this and people started to talk about it again. Jon Lester said "that's somebody that has never played our game. You play for a reason, you play for that piece of metal. I'm very proud of the three that I have." He also said "if that's the way he (Rob Manfred) feels, then he needs to take his name off the trophy." Mike Trout then came out and spoke about how he was unhappy with the astros organization and the punishments that were given to them. He said that if he knew what pitch was coming he'd have a lot of fun batting. He also said that many people lost respect for players on the Astros when they weren't that big of a part in the scandal. Cody Bellinger also came out and said what he thought about the whole scandal. He said that he thought the apoligizes for the sign stealing were weak, and he also said that Jose Altuve stole the MVP from Aaron Judge in 2017. He also said that the Astros stole the 2017 world series from the Dodgers which is the absolute truth 100%. Giancarlo Stanton, a Miami Marlin at the time, said that if he knew what pitch was coming he'd hit 80 home runs that year. That's basically everything that has happened so far and my opinion is that I think the Astros shouldn't even be allowed in the MLB in general. It's just such a bad crime and it caused so many things to shift that year. For all I know it could've been the Yankees walking home with their 28th world series that year with Aaron Judge as World series MVP and regular season MVP. So that's it for now, thanks for reading my blog and I can't wait to write the next one!
