It has been over a week, and who has shined the most?

It has been 10 days since the trade deadline when I have began writing this and there are some clear stars and clear I would say let downs from these star signings. So what I am going to do today is go over every star signing and see how well they have done since joining their new affiliation. Let's get this thing started!
Anthony Rizzo
Chicago Cubs to New York Yankees
BA (Batting Average) since joining the team: .281
You can't really put much against Rizzo currently as he has only played nine games so far and sadly just got COVID which hopefully he recovers from. In these games he has played he has only gotten 9 hits in 32 at bats which is basically an average of one hit per game which isn't the best for such a good hitter. He has only 3 home runs which has come along with three strike outs, which I expected because with power comes many strike outs as well. To be honest he wasn't having the best year in Chicago either, with only a .241 BA (Batting Average) and 80 hits in 323 at bats. So coming into New York he already seemed to not be in the best spot this year. I don't actually have much else to say about Rizzo so lets just move on to his new teammate that was also traded to the Yanks at the deadline
Joey Gallo
Texas Rangers to New York Yankees
BA since joining the team: .167
Right away you can tell just from the batting average that Gallo has been having a terrible time at the plate since joining the team. The Yankees got him for a new bat that would bring constant power, and he has been a let down. Coming into New York he had hit 25 home runs, and in 15 games with his new team he has only hit three home runs Also, he has already struck out a whopping 25 times, so my power statement with Rizzo comes into play a lot here. That is all I truly have to say about Joey Gallo besides that he needs to step up and prove why the Yankees took the time to get him on their side. So all I have to say in the end with Gallo is that he needs to just find his jam because he has no clue where he is right now in my mind.
Kris Bryant
Chicago Cubs to San Francisco Giants
BA since joining the team: .294
Kris Bryant has actually been doing quite solid since going to the bay in San Fran. This team of Giants has only lost twice since Bryant's arrival and he seems to be a key piece to this currently top of the league team. The Giants are currently one of only five teams with 70 wins as I am writing this, and they are in an extremely tough division currently that includes the stacked dodgers and padres. At the end of the day I would say that this way quite the successful trade for the Giants and Kris Bryant has found himself a good spot at his new team where I don't think he will get replaced any time soon. He currently has no competition for his spot and there shouldn't be any if he keeps being consistent.
Adam Frazier
Pittsburgh Pirates to San Diego Padres
BA since joining the team: .274
Just like Kris Bryant, Adam Frazier has been on a tear since joining his new team where there is already lots of fire power. This Padres team is quite hard to fit into since every position is stacked with talent, but Adam has fit in perfectly and has taken his new role well. If I were to do a ranking of these players from best to worst, Adam Frazier would absolutely be in the top 5. Now the Padres have won half and half since Adam joined, which isn't the best when they are in the toughest division in the MLB, but they have the wild card on lock at this point so it wont matter all that much at the end of the day. I am quite perplexed on what else to say so moving on!
Trea Turner
Washington Nationals to Los Angeles Dodgers
BA since joining the team: .200
Trea hasn't really done much in his eight games with his new team. In my eyes right now he is just a better than average infielder with your average hitting skills. I mean he averages one run for every hit he has currently which is a pretty good stat. All I can say right now is that he will supply a lot for this team as time winds down to October.
Javier Baez
Chicago Cubs to New York Mets
BA since joining the team: .171
Javy is having a rough start in the big apple and the Mets struggling to add insult to injury, literally. In the 10 games Baez has played the Mets have only won TWICE, TWICE! Also, on August 5 he had a platinum sombrero versus the Marlins, meaning he struck out five whole times. However, he sadly left the game early on Sunday, August 8 versus the Phillies with left hip tightness, but he looks to already be active again so he isn't letting that injury stop him from helping this struggling Mets side. Now, have hope Mets fans because I think that he will start to become the star player he is as time goes on. Besides, when Francisco Lindor comes back the defensive plays will be astounding and the chemistry will be great. For now though he is just a player with better than average fielding like Trea Turner.
Jose Berrios
Minnesota Twins to Toronto Blue Jays
ERA since joining the team: 3.86
Record since joining the team: 1-1 in three starts
IP: 16.1
Settle down baseball fans, this ERA does not mean he will be terrible the entire rest of the season, after all this is just after three starts and one very bad game. However, he still is doing really good at the moment and seems to be finding a way to be that star pitcher the Blue Jays need at the moment. The second best pitcher the Blue Jays have is Hyun Jin Ryu, who's good, but isn't going to become a superstar caliber player. Coming into Toronto though Berrios has had a tough year, letting up 53 runs with a 3.48 ERA in Minnesota. However, he was still 7-5 in 20 starts so not terrible at all. Now, moving onto the final player.
Max Scherzer
Washington Nationals to Los Angeles Dodgers
ERA since joining the team: 1.74
Record since joining the team: 1-0 in 2 starts
IP: 10.1
This was a trade that was supposed to just send Scherzer to LA so the Dodgers could replace Trevor Bauer, but Trea Turner ended up going to LA too. Coming into LA, Max was having a pretty good season in the Nations Capital, having an 8-4 record with a 2.76 ERA. I am honestly scared about what might happen when Kershaw comes back and if Bauer ever comes back from his sexual assault allegations. If all three of them are in the rotation at the same time with Walker Buehler and Julio Urias as the other two, the entire league will be screwed when they come against this team. Honestly, with DeGrom out of the CY Young picture this season due to injury, I think that Mad Max will have a solid chance at winning the CY Young this year.
Alright! So that is my analysis on each star player that was sent to a new team at the deadline, and I hope you enjoyed. Until the next time, peace out!
