Lets go over these big names that are on the move!

Now I just want to start off by saying this, all of these moves were terrible for one of the two teams in the moves. These were probably the worst trades I have seen in a while, but let us go over them.

Russell Wilson Trade

Broncos get: Russell Wilson, fourth-round pick

Seahawks get: Drew Lock, Shelby Harris, Noah Fant, two first-round picks, 2022 second-round pick, 2023 second-round pick, fifth-round pick

Now I am not going to go out and say this trade was bad for either team, because it really wasn't. However, the Seahawks made another questionable move after that is worth discussing, that is next though. Russell Wilson has desperately been looking for his way out of Seattle and he found it in Denver. Whilst Denver gave up most of their future, they are currently a playoff contender, which is what they have strived to be since Peyton Manning left. For the Seahawks though, they are in full rebuild mode with this trade. Drew Lock is not a starter caliber quarterback in any way, he needs lots of work to be at that level. Noah Fant is definitely able to compete with Gerald Everett for that top tight end spot, so that should be interesting to see as both of them are around the same skill level. I don't know much about Shelby Harris but he should be a good start in the defensive area. All these picks are making the Seahawks look like the Thunder, which makes sense because the Thunder used to be in Seattle. These picks should help them find lots of raw talent that can be shaped to their liking to get them a young squad. I could see them tanking this season which will most likely be the case but I do not think the Seahawks are done yet with their moves this offseason.

Seahawks Release Bobby Wagner

I find this move to be downright idiotic. Bobby Wagner is a 6 time all first pro bowler and an 8 time pro bowler, not to mention the one ring that he has. I did not expect the Seahawks to be so serious about their rebuild, especially to the point where they get rid of such a seasoned veteran in the league that is still very talented. There is teams that would be willing to trade some picks and young players for Wagner, but I guess the Seahawks didn't want to go through the trouble of trading him. I could see a couple third round picks being thrown to the Seahawks at least for him, but I guess this is what we are left with.

Carson Wentz Trade

Commanders get: Carson Wentz, second-round pick, seventh-round pick

Colts get: second-round pick, third-round pick, conditional third-round pick (goes up to a second-round pick if Wentz takes 70% of Washington's snaps this season)

Now this trade was just downright stupid for the Colts. Carson Wentz has a couple weapons now with Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson. The Colts did get some decent picks but they absolutely could've gotten a first rounder in this trade. The Colts now have nobody at their quarterback spot that is NFL ready, their starter is Jacob Eason as of now for reference. I don't know what the Colts are going to do this season, but they seem to be putting every bit of their faith in Jonathan Taylor, who is certainly a guy you can rely on, but remember it is a running back so they aren't reliable most of the time to carry a team. We will see what happens but at the end of the year expect the Colts to be in a spot where they get a top 5 pick.

Khalil Mack Trade

Chargers get: Khalil Mack

Bears get: 2022 second-round pick, 2023 sixth-round pick

The Bears are absolutely screwed this season, let's just get that out there for everyone to hear. They had much more potential in this trade, and especially more than a second and sixth. Khalil Mack is not what he used to be for sure but he is still a high quality player who isn't worth a second and sixth. I could see a first and third getting thrown to Chicago for Mack. This is just the cherry on top of the were screwed sundae in Chicago, because while this happened their mortal enemies in Green Bay have secured their best players. Aaron Rodgers resigned, and Davante Adams was franchise tagged, meaning that this all relied on Rodgers resigning regarding the Packers moves. So all I have to say is, make better moves Chicago.

Amari Cooper Trade

Browns get: Amari Cooper, sixth-round pick

Cowboys get: fifth-round pick, sixth-round pick

This trade was just downright dumb on the Cowboys end. Amari Cooper had a solid season this year having the most touchdowns since 2019 with eight.
